House Examination & Attendence
FOR B.A./B.SC./B.COM. PART I, II, III STUDENT
To be eligible for Annual Examinations:
1) (a) A student should have obtained 33% marks in the aggregate of all the Subjects or 20% marks in each subject in the house examination held by the College.
(b) Speacial Test : 35% marks in each subject.
2. A student must have attended at least 66% of the total lectures/practicals/tutorials in each subject (provided that at least 75% of the lectures/practicals/tutorials fixed for the subject have been delivered.) For genuine reason the Principal is empowered to condone shortage in attendance up to 15 periods in lectures. 7 periods in tutorials (Comm. Classes).in every subject provided that no condonation is allowed if the candidate has not attended 50% of the total lectures/practicals/tutorials delivered conducted in each subject.
Note: Under the Punjabi University regulations, students who do not fulfill the above conditions, cannot appear in the Annual examination even as 'Private Candidates' .
